Step 1

Open the ‘Webroot software’ installed on your PC to shred files during a cleanup process.

Step 2

In the Icon panel, click on ‘Cleanup.’

Step 3

Select ‘Make cleaned files unrecoverable.’

NOTE:

During cleanup, the Webroot software deletes the files and overwrites them with random characters.

Step 4

Open ‘Windows Explorer’ to shred a single file or folder.

Step 5

Right click on the desired file or folder that you want to delete.

Step 6

Select ‘Cleanup,’ which will make files unrecoverable.

Step 7

A pop-up window appears, click on ‘Yes.’

You have successfully removed files from Webroot software on your system. While using cleanup process, make sure you want to permanently remove files and folders.
