Step 1

Firstly, you need to download the antivirus definition file. Download the file and save it to a location on your PC. You will have to enter your username and password because only licensed users of Panda security can access the download files.

Step 2

Make sure you note where you have saved the downloaded file.

Step 3

Navigate to the location on your computer hard drive where the file is located.

Step 4

As you ‘double-click’ the executable file, a wizard starts which guides you through the installation steps.

Step 5

Accept the user terms of service for the installation process. The application will automatically detect the location of the Panda Security antivirus application and install new updates to that location.

Step 6

After the installation is complete, restart the system as it is important to allow the new definition installation to take effect.

You have successfully installed all the updates of Panda antivirus software on your computer. Now, your computer is protected from new virus threats. However, we recommend you to install antivirus updates regularly as this makes it easier for the antivirus software to detect latest virus definitions.
