Step 1

Close all the programs and windows on your computer and sign in to your computer using administrator account.

Step 2

By clicking on the “Start” button from your desktop, go to the “Control Panel” option.

Step 3

A dialog box labeled “Currently installed programs” can appear on the screen when you double-click on the “Add or Remove Programs” option.

Step 4

Go to the Norton AntiVirus program on your computer and then click on it. Next, click on the “Remove” button.

Step 5

Click on the “Remove All” button and then wait for a few minutes to let the uninstall process finish. This can remove the Norton software from your PC.

Step 6

Go to the “My Computer” option in the “Start” menu. Double-click on the “C Drive” option and then on the “Program Files” option.

Step 7

Choose any Norton programs folders and right-click on the folders and click on delete to remove any Norton items that may remain on your computer.

You have successfully removed all the Norton files from your PC. However, we recommend you to install the latest version of Norton security software or any other antivirus to keep your PC protected against severe virus and spyware attacks.
