Step 1

By clicking on the “Start” button, go to the “Control Panel” section of the Start Menu.

Step 2

If you are running your PC on Windows XP, open the “Add or Remove Programs” section of the Control Panel. However, if your system runs on Windows Vista or Windows 7, open the “Programs and Features” section of the Control Panel.

Step 3

To remove the Norton program, click on the “Remove” button.

Step 4

Before restarting the PC, confirm that you wish to remove the Norton product. Wait for a while to get it uninstalled and then reboot your PC.

You have successfully removed the Norton security software from your PC. However, we recommend you to install a new version of Norton AntiVirus to protect your PC against potential online and other security threats.
