To protect your personal and official data on Smartphones, Kaspersky Lab has launched Endpoint 8. The company officials said that their new offering will protect data on the Smartphones from theft, loss, malware, and unauthorized access.

Kaspersky Endpoint 8 provides a range of anti-theft functions, helping users to track the device using GPS find, remotely block and wipe data, and encrypt data. The solution also allows users to protect their devices from malicious programs, spam messages, and Internet attacks. With our Smartphones turning into our wallets and personal computers, malware attacks could turn disastrous for business and corporate workers.
But malware are not just the only concern. IDC in a forecast for 2011 said that application vulnerabilities, and loss or theft of Smartphones will become an even bigger problem for companies.
Andrew Lintell, director of corporate sales of Kaspersky Lab, said “A key concern is the physical loss of these devices. A survey was conducted for Kaspersky Lab of 1,600 smartphone users[i], and the results found that 20 per cent of all respondents have, at some point, reported their smartphones lost or stolen.”
So, if a Smartphone which is not protected gets lost or hacked, it can lead to the loss of sensitive information stored in it. Kaspersky Endpoint 8 is quite flexible and easy to install. It provides complete security to both corporate and personal data.
