Recent news states that hackers have hacked the U.S. Chamber of Commerce using some servers based in China

According to a recent piece of news, some hackers have broken the cyber security of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The incident happened quite a long time ago (a few months), but the Chamber of Commerce only came to know about the attack when the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation informed about the same. The degree of the data breach is still not clear to the Chamber. It would be worth mentioning here that the United States Chamber of Commerce, which has more than 100 affiliates around the world, comprises most of the major U.S. corporations.

The U.S. government is already trying hard to strike out proposals to get its IT security up to the mark. This clearly means that not only some particular departments, such as the Chamber of Commerce, but also the U.S. government itself is facing major tribulations with the network infringement cases.

Throwing light on the matter, The Wall Street Journal has stated that the hackers hacked the IT system of the United States Chamber of Commerce using servers that are positioned in China.

There are some people who believe that the U.S. officials suspect that the hackers have ties with the Chinese government. In an interview with TechNewsWorld, Darren Hayes, the CIS program chair at Pace University said, “We are already involved in a cyberwar with China, and we are only reading about a small percentage of the actual attacks that are occurring”.

However, the Chinese government has denied any type of involvement in this shocking intrusion. This security breach is supposed to have impacted around 300 Internet addresses. Keeping in mind some earlier cyber invasions in the U.S. territory by Chinese hackers, the question surely arises if the Chinese government is involved in this or other such cases!
