According to Google, the new Chrome version will have the capability to detect sign-up pages and then provide users with a small User Interface on the password field, giving them the option to set their own password or let Google generate it.
The Giant Search engine also added, “At some point in the future it might also be possible for us to automatically change all of a user’s passwords when we realize that their account is hijacked.”
Google has been on the news for bypassing security policies of other big companies like Apple, in order to track user’s web activities. The company has also made changes in their privacy settings, which will come into effect from next month. So, the question is will users trust Google in allowing the search engine to generate their passwords?
